Welcome to our chalet Zilverster. “Zilverster” is Dutch for Edelweiss, the famous flower that stands for all the beauty the Alps offer, both winter and summer.
Wald am Arlberg, the Klostertal and the surrounding Arlberg, Silbertal and Lechtal offer plenty of opportunities to spend a few nice, sporting days while enjoying the beautiful mountains. Feel free to scroll through the packages we offer, or contact us for variations.
Further away at only one hour drive you can explore beautiful Bregenz and the Bodensee with the famous Festspiele, Bludenz or Innsbruck with its famous “Golden Dach”.

OUR CHALET
Our chalet is very suitable to spend a pleasant ski or mountain holiday with 20 people. This was an important asset for us when we were looking for a chalet: because a ski or mountain vacation is even more fun together with friends.
At the ground floor you’ll find a kitchen, and an authentic living area with wooden benches, wooden walls and a typical Speck stove. 2 dining tables for 8 people each.
In addition, there is a completely new kitchen with cooking island, oven and microwave, two dishwashers. Ideal for cooking lovers, including a bar for those who love to watch cooking.
In total there are 19 beds, spread over 7 rooms. All rooms have separate bathrooms with shower, wc and washbasin.
In the basement, there is a spacious ski room with ski boot warmer, as well as a nice wellness area with sauna.
WINTER ACTIVITIES
Top groomed pistes from beginner blue runs to double black, great powder snow and challenging runs of all types :
With the “natural snow” ski area Sonnenkopf, and the Arlberg – Austria’s biggest skiresort – Klostertal offers everything a die hard wintersporter can dream of : best prepared ski slopes and trackless off-piste areas, as well as the famous Austrian hospitality in one of the many skihuts or restaurants !
Explore the snow-covered landscape and breathe in the clean winter air – a wonderful experience especially away from the pistes. Leave your own tracks in the snow during winter or snowshoe hiking, glide silently through the snow-covered landscape on cross-country skis and, as a tourer, make your way through untouched landscapes. And don’t forget there is tobogganing, ice skating, carriage and dog sledding. These are just a few other winter holiday activities here in Wald am Arlberg.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES
Families feel very well here with a wide range of coole summeractivities for both the kids as the parents : hiking and mountainbiking in the Klostertal, the Lechtaleralps and the Verwall mountains, at the Sonnenkopf or the Arlberg.
In Bärenland at the Sonnenkopf, families find adventure and lot of fun and entertainment. After a long hike, one can cool down in one of the open air swimming pools.
